Middle School

Students begin planning and implementing community involvement and their own impact to society.  They learn to express themselves appropriately through group and art therapy.  Through group therapy, students learn how to think about their decisions and actions before acting on them.  Vocational expectations are introduced and researched.

Clay Academy utilizes a point system that incorporates reinforcements that students can identify with.  At the middle and high school level, the level system provides a visual cue as to when mainstreaming opportunities are introduced.
